What is the best software for making backup copies of my DVD movie collection?

I've tried with the programs that came with my DVD burner but they tell me the DVD is protected and stop.

dvd shrink 3.2.17 download at http://www.afterdawn.com/softwaredownloads/dvdtools will shrink then auto burn dvd with nero can also get new Nero 7.2b on same site
