Some say yes and my opinion is that they are equally as smart as dogs. Pigs tend to learn faster then dogs however Dogs have more talents and dogs communicate better then pigs.

Why do you want to know? Are you considering purchasing or adopting either a dog or a pig?

Well,both pigs and dogs are pretty smart,but I think dogs are smarter.

no. I'm always seeing these cops with german sheperds leading them around. so at least a german sheperd is smarter than a pig.

I think the term used is intelligent...which as in humans, doesn't always mean smarter....

pigs eat other animals poo poo and have fun in the mud and dogs lead people who can't see and some can learn to do sports.
