Surely your God can deliver you from this atrocity. Keep the faith and in a year... you'll still be spanking your winky.

When Jesus Christ died on the cross for you, He took upon Himself the punishment for every sin you have ever committed—or ever will commit. God's mercy is infinite! This is why the Bible says, "As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us" (Psalm 103:12).
Does this mean that it doesn't matter how we live, or that we don't need to confess our sins and seek His forgiveness when we do wrong? No, certainly not. God is holy and pure, and sin is an offense to Him. When we sin, we dishonor Him and act as if we are more important than He is. Sin also cuts us off from God and breaks our fellowship with Him. The Bible warns, "If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened" (Psalm 66:18).
But God still loves us even when we sin and yearns for us to come to Him and seek His forgiveness. Don't ever doubt His love, and don't ever doubt His willingness to forgive us when we truly repent! God loves you so much that His Son was willing to die on the cross for you.
Have you opened your heart to Christ? Make sure of your commitment to Him. Then ask Him to help you conquer those things that keep pulling you down. You can't conquer them in your own strength—but with Christ's help you can. Thank Him for His mercy, and turn to Him each day for the power to overcome sin. I have sometimes had to quit looking at TV and any pics on the internet (even fully-clothed girls). You can't help the first look, but what about the 2nd or 3rd? Christ will give you the strength to resist and overcome (see 1st Corinthians 10:13)

To answer theshryrocks question as to whether masturbating is a sin or not, the statement IS made in The Bible that "It is better to put your seeds into the belly of a whore than to spew them on the ground. Take it for what it is worth.

The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.
If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.
All this talk about sin sounds like a bunch of nonsense to me.
First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.
How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work?
It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.
One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.
Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.
If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.
If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.
How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.
Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.
If this is the case then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.
How likely is that????
Think about it.
The idea of sin is simple nonsense; a lie made up about God by religion.

I am as serious as a heart attack. Masturbating is NOT a sin. Who in the world started this rumor?
Lets be real here. Okay so you think that it is a sin to masturbate, right? Well do you think that God would want you to be out raping people to release your frustrations? Or are you telling me it is better to have multiple partner's instead of masturbation? Do you think he wants those to have extra marital affairs if our partner can't preform for what ever reason? So here is my reasons why I think that who ever said that has got to be stupid...
Keep on doing it, I will promise that you will not go blind, nor will you go to heal, and you will not even have to repent for it.

well, its quite natural to masturbate regularly. and its very healthy, belive it or not, it is. And there is no commandment that says thou shall not Masturbate.....but if it helps, it is your own temptation...just try to ignore it....watch a movie, go on the computer, and soon the temptaion should go away....
But youll have to once in a while....its just nature...nothing can stop it.....
Good luck with your path to self rightoiusness---spelling??

If you are serious, then you have to find something to do in place of it. Just like any other habit. And no its not a sin.

Oh brother, lighten up. Touching your body is NOT a sin. As long as you do it in private who the heck is gonna care? If you don't mess with yourself how in the world are you going to learn how to please your spouse or have your spouse please you when you are married?
If this is what your church teaches you then I'd find a new church.
