I think religion has become pathetic. What's supposed to be something for bettering yourself, bringing peace and love and people caring for one another has become the "better than thou" kind of life with wars, violence , hatred and bigotry - all which all their holy books go against. The worse part is that people are judging eachother left and right. Even those that say they dont follow a religion but a "way of life" are really full of it these days.
Not against religon or certain religious concepts just dont like what the world is turning into.

It's funny that there's one bible and dozens of interpretations of what god should be, what he is to people and how he should be worshiped.
Again, one bible.
It's funny how people of god are so misled and how they believe whatever is brought in front of them, so long as it's in the name of the christian god and jeebus the christ.
It's rather amusing how many christians will pick and choose what bible verses to follow to fit their personal needs. Some don't even follow the old testiment, yet when it comes to homosexuality, they're throwing all sorts of quotes from Leviticus out there. Then they'll go to Red Lobster and have the all you can eat shrimp platter.
It's not that god is a joke (cos no deity exists), nor is the christian religion a joke. It's the followers of the religion that are jokes.

Religion has been an answer to explain things about fundamental questions of our origins. As science has advanced, more parts of religion are found to be flawed. I think that religous fundamentals are for the ignorant. Everyone is afraid to die. It's good to feel like you might continue to exist once you do die, but let's be real here, you most likely won't.

I am a Christian. I believe in one true God. Because of my beliefs (the teachings of Christ), I believe I should share the Word of the Lord with others. I don't want to force anyone to believe in Christ. I simply want to share the Word with those who are interested. I am perfectly willing to accept others for what they believe or don't belive. I believe that love, compassion, and acceptance make this world a better place.

always there. even when it feels He isn't and doesn't care. we need to communicate with Him, too if we want Him to answer.
being a Christian is having a relationship with Jesus. In a relationship, both people need to communicate.

nothing wrong with religion or god. kill them with kindness and treat others as you like to be treated and talk to god let him know he is still in your thoughts and don't use his name to hide behind with false pretences.
