Pray that God's will be done.
If it is his will that you should do this thing, he will make it possible.

The most important thin gis to pray, even if you don't know why you are praying! God wants a relationship with you, and one of the best ways to do that is through prayer, so even if you are confused, you can't go wroong by praying!
To me, being a Christian is about admiting you are wrong and that you need God in your life. So maybe just admit this to God. Pray and tell him why you are confused, and what you want to do. He won't be angry if you pray for the 'wrong' thing because He knows you don't know everything He does, so how could you know what is right?!
Pray, and if God wants you to go, you will find the money somehow. If now isn't the right time, then maybe it wont turn up, or something will tell you that God isn't wanting you to do this.
Like I said, when in doubt, just pray anyway! If you want to talk anymore, you can message me and I'll help if I can.

It’s OK. I know how you feel I was told by god that I would do something for his cause and well it didn't happen when I thought it was suppose too, but later I discovered that what he wanted actually came in a different way. I was too impatient and thought my own time line and not his.
Pray about the mission trip. If it doesn't happen look at it this way, god has other plans for you, maybe even bigger and better plans. Maybe you have a different gift that could help his teaching to reach others, maybe. For instance see all the rude remarks in here an the way people treat Christian beliefs, maybe you can reach more people your own age that have the negative influences like the rude commit people in here. Yes, we need people in Russia, but we also need more kids and teens to spread is word in the USA just as much. More teens to live and walk the path of their love for Christ in the schools or hanging out. You should always show your walk with Christ beyond the walls of the church in your personal life outside of the church. Don’t be afraid to share god’s love for he gives you that strength.
Job 6:11 What is my strength, that I should wait? And what is mine end, that I should be patient?
Exo 15:2 Jehovah is my strength and song, And he is become my salvation: This is my God, and I will praise him; My father's God, and I will exalt him.
Psa 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
Eph 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.
you must be patient, the lord is with you always and your love for him will show in many ways. Pray guidance and you can even ask him to explain why you can’t go or if you can praise him for that. One down fall Christians have for themselves (including myself) is the lack of faith in situations and the lack of patients. As well. One person even told me that if you don’t also help work toward the goal to spread his word (raising the money) he doesn't want people to think they didn't have to work for it in some ways. That maybe he is waiting for not just your prayers, but also the steps you will take to also raise the money. I have heard those stories from people who have asked your same question and after they took the first steps, no matter how big or small the steps they took it sometimes happen and sometimes didn't, but the process became a teaching experience all the same.
Good luck and god bless you in your direction
(to those who believe help by praying also for her)

We don't have the mental capacity to KNOW what God wants from us exactly, which is why God has never expected us to be perfect. God doesn't censor our prayers, he actually insists on us asking for the anything that sits heavily on our hearts. You want to go to Russia on a mission trip to help others...that's a good prayer. Don't stop. However, keep in mind that God may have another purpose for you, at this time. He may have you help others in your own community, or someplace else other than where you THINK you should be. Just keep an open heart and willingness to go wherever God leads you, Russia or not.

Ok - for starters, we as human beings will never know for a fact what God wants - its a matter of praying for what we want and then waiting to see if it happens - if it happens - then he has willed it that way...he will show you a way to get the money to go to Russia if you are sincere about going to Russia...listen to your heart when praying - and when the answer comes to you... you'll just know...
and while you're at it, please pray for these other souls who do not believe in God

God wants you to present your desires to Him. He knows what you want, but still wants you to talk with Him about it. Remember that Jesus taught us to pray saying "Your will be done." So at the same time that you are asking what you want, you're also acknowledging that God is in control and He will answer your prayer in His perfect way. You can also ask God to tell you what He wants, that's a very good thing to do, and He won't ignore your requests. Pray about everything.
Hope this helps,
God bless

If you want to go on a mission trip to Russia, and you need money to go, just talk to God about it. He will either open doors for it to happen, or He won't. Take things one day at a time and see what God does for you that day. Remember Jesus said, be anxious for nothing, but in all things, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Once we do that, we then just allow God to order the next steps. Don't worry about what He is going to do or not going to do; once you pray, leave it in His hands; He will reveal to you what direction to go in.

Of course we can ask stuff from God. But it shouldn't be for reasons like you want to show off or have something that's better than something someone else has. He's is our Father. You're going to spread the gospel in Russia so that is something most definitely He wants us to do. If you've obeyed God and have faith in Him then even if it isn't in His initial plan He will reward you with you want. If God is directly telling you not to go and sending you signs you shouldn't go at that particular time because God sees all and He might be saving you from danger or what have you.

I am not a Holy Roller but I do believe in God and I know for a fact he listens to our prayers. The best thing to do is say to God, " If this is what you want me to do, show me the way and help with the means." God wont put a task on you that he doesnt provide a way for you to accomplish it.
I am part of the baby-boomers and have been put in several positions where God had to step in and pull my butt out of the fire so to speak.
With a clear mind and full conviction of your heart, Talk to God the way you would talk to your best friend. He does listen.

I think you already know the answer at least, it sounds like it from reading your question. Imagine God like your father and mother, if you said you wanted to go to college, I rarely doubt your parents would say no and would ever encourage and support you, unless there were monetary problems but that's not of a spirtual nature. BUT if you wanted to go to camping with a bunch of people some of which were guys, they wouldn't give you the same support. I hope that gives you a better understanding of God's relation to us.
As for your trip, if he intends you to go and if the trip will have a big impact on your life and your work for him, he will Ensure that you will be able to go. But if you wish to go just to visit Russia or that someone else going might be more useful than you going, then although he won't offer his help, he won't make it so you can't go either. The point is, do what you have to to help yourself, if God intends you to go, then will make room for you on the trip but if not your own hard work won't be in vein either.
I hope that helps. God's purpose for us is in spiritual growth, if you wish to have fun although God will be happy for you, granting everyone's wishes for what they want you be considered interference.

Since you see God in such a way; I think it's all in how hard you rub his lamp.
If God wanted you to go he would have put it in your mind to get a job to help pay for the trip.
When others see how serious and mature you are, donations and sponsorships should follow. Do some foot work.
Now a question for you...
Are you sincere about doing the missionary work, or do you think it would just be a neato trip to take?
