Yes this world was made for us. If it wasn't God wouldn't have created us in the first place. He would've created whoever it was meant for instead of us.

this place is similar to a bus stop or waiting area. then everyone will be called to go back to GOD for judgment and then asked "what did you do while you were waiting to come back to your Lord?". well we better hope we answer the questions well. so to answer your question..it's not for anything or anyone. it's a pit stop.
