I am wondering what foods are illegal in the US. I know the list must be detailed and extensive, so does anybody have direction for me, like a link? Other countries are needed also, but the US list is of primary importance.

Any food that has been processed it usually ok to bring in. What will get you into trouble is fresh fruit, nuts, veggies, meats, fish. . If its packaged usually you are ok. Go to the US Customs site to get details. I have travel extensively internationally and never had any trouble moving packaged foods.
