maybe their religion isn't giving them the answers they are looking for. some people like to remain "ignorant" and others are just looking, digging and trying with no hope. Maybe they're looking in the wrong places. something is missing in their lives and they're looking for it.

You have to be more specific than that. First off, God is the same today, tomorrow and yesterday. The difference your talking about is church Doctrine. The difference between say the Baptist Church and the Methodist Church. They worship the same God, but each church has slightly different ways of doing things. Doesnt make them wrong, just different. Baptists dont beleive in dancing, and Pentacostals jump up and down and shout and dance. Is it wrong??? Nope, its how they worship and that is them and not someone else.
Dont get confused, open the Bible, read it, research it and you will see that many religious groups are the same.

Religion is not necessarily the same thing as knowing God. They're looking for fulfillment in religion, when what they really need is God.
