Yes we should keep 2 languages. In the future, both languages will be a common thing for the children growing up, and if were lucky we could have them learning other languages with a greater ease. The more different languages future humans can learn the better off everyones life will be.
Right know their are a lot of people who are afraid of other people, simply because they don't understand their language, and are thinking that ethier they are talking about them, or plotting agaisnt America.

I think Carlos Mencia (the comedian) nailed it when he said that the immigration issue comes down to people being pissed about the language. When Americans heard the National Anthem sang in Spanish $#it hit the fan. Change, adapt, or die. He also went on to say unless your ancestors kicked Custer in the balls, you are an immigrant too. I am proud that my children will be around many different cultures.

No, English will always be THE Language. Every immigrant has learnt it , if they wanted to find a job and be integrated. Of course it's useful to speak another language, but Spanish won't be official soon.

i was warned by someone from Canada that when they decided to do the by lingual thing that it was a mistake all government documents are now printed in both languages
