Tough question...there is strength in numbers and if the US is standing alone, I would have to say the Europe/Russia forces, after all, the US did lose Viet Nam and we were supposed to have the best trained forces and the best hardware. Don't ever underestimate your opponent.

European powers including Russia lacks the means to deliver tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of soldiers to North America.
Moreover, the US Navy could realistically take on the entire planetary naval forces simultaneously and still win without nukes.
Since the US would own the seas, the best Europe could hope for is a draw in the air supremacy battle, but superior US space tech would likely eliminate European air power albeit after significant air losses.
Since the US has tens of thousands of troops on the ground, including armor and special forces, they could do all sorts of damage to European leadership targets.
Americans could count on better intelligence and better counter-insurgency than they suffer with in the Middle East, as there are fewer language and cultural barriers.
But America could win the battles, but not hold any territory permanently, so ultimately the war would be unwinable

I think USA wins, because theirs soldiers have no mercy.. and they will kill all people (kids, women, old people, trees, pets...).
And, they will bomb them with thousands of nuclear weapons...
USA = NO MERCY = NO MORALS = TERRORISM = NO FRIENDS...
NO no no no no... not USA.. Europe wins...
You know why? Because Israel is an European country... So, Only ISRAEL will win... Because there no terrorism greater than ISRAEL...
And if i said USA wins, i said that because the American terrorism is due to Zionism in the American government. So if there is a war between USA ans ISRAEL.. Israel wins because all American Zionists will be against USA (military, economy, press...)... so USA no more the greatest force...

In reality, only France and Russia (not all europeans) can destroy USA... without any help...

Depends on the home field advantage, how many troops are involved, etc. In a non nuke war, we are still more advanced in weapons than them, but, with modern weapons of low tech still being what they are, we could not take Europe like in the World Wars. As much as they could not take us in the USA.
Now, If its just two sides of equal strength and weapons, then you could flip a coin. Their is no real way to know. From a soldiers point of view (me) their is no winner's in war.

well, we would win, but not without the cost of many lives. Europe is the only other region in the world with military technology and funding close to our level. Its like a fight between you, and two people who are almost at your level. I can tell you now, the most trouble we would have is with the UK, and German Armies. Provided that Canada doesnt interfere, we should have a good shot at winning.

Well considering we already have troups in Europe and surrounding Russia in Japan and considering we have a superior Navy and Air Support we would probably win. However it would depend on the objectives (are we defending the USA if so we would definatley win because they would have a very hard time getting here) (are we attacking trying to take over Russia we would have a very hard time I doubt we would have the resources to win this.)

If when you say europe does that include uk ,france ,germany ?If combined with the old soviet union you would not have a prayer !Why do you yanks think you are so good ? You could not beat a nation of rice farmers ( vietnam ) and you are not doing much better in the gulf , bigger armies dont always mean better !

The only good fighters in Europe are the British,Russia is bankrupt but the US military is useless and not exactly ready for any type of combat so Europe and Russia win.
