Accept the penalties for the bad choices in your life and hold your head high as you have risen above them. Bring to the attention of the adult children that you have matured and moved on and so should they. If they can't forgive you for your mistakes and realize that you are a different person now --- then they need to take a long hard look at themselves and figure out the role they are playing in the developing of those younger minds...

You should never choose between your kids or your lover. Your kids should always come first. At the same time your kids should always respect you. Maybe if you should more love or care toward your kids and not so much toward the other guy, then maybe your kids would respect you. Sit them down and have an adult conversation with them. You never know what may come out of it. Good luck, and never loose your patients with your kids.

Sorry, you need to kick your adult children to the curb. There is no excuse for your kids to act that way. Especially if there are young minds, easily influenced around.

Wow tough crowd! ok first of all kids do as they wish despite how well we raise them. Regardless of if they approve of who you are with or not, it does not give them the right to disrespect you. tell them point blan and then stick by it, i love you with all my heart but if you do not stop treating me this way then i am sorry, you must go. it is the hardest thing in thw world to do, but if it is affecting the other children, then it may end up being the only choice you have left.

I think it is time, you invite every one together to have a family meeting, Make it like a party, cook food, no alcoholic drinks. have every one to the table. tell them this is serious, it is time this household chances for the better, You want them to learn new words, because no profanity will be used here any more, and if they must, they have to find some where else to live, tell them The rules to this household, will be all about respect, and we are going to respect, one another.

The apple does not fall far from the tree, sweetie! You brought your kids up like this and this is what is meant by, "you reap what you sow." I am sure that there is another side to this story. Try changing your behavior.....perhaps it will help in them wanting to change theirs! Face it, you are dysfyunctional!

LET THEM KNOW YOUR STILL THE ADULT AND THEIR THE CHILD. IN THE LONG RUN THEY ARE ONLY HURTING THEMSELVES BECAUSE THE BIBLE SAYS "OBEY THY MOTHER AND FATHER AND THY DAYS WILL BE LONG". HAVE A FAMILY MEETING AND TALK ABOUT THE PROBLEMS GOING ON. THAT WAY EVERYBODY CAN HAVE A SAY SO.
