If he didn't respond in a similar manner when you told him that you like him, I'm thinking that the feeling may not be mutual. Just because he talks to you all the time doesn't spell out attraction...afterall, he's friends with your cousin so maybe he's just being cordial and likes you as an associate. Besides, you haven't really given us enough information to really answer your question. Does he flirt with you? Does he joke around with you? What has he done to make you feel like you may have a chance with him?

Sounds like he likes you. At least as a friend he likes you. He sounds like he's comfortable with you, and that's a good thing. Don't get to clingy so you scare him away, let things develop naturally.
