Some thought this was a joke but I thought it was cruel......One day two guys I knew just barged in without telling me scarin the crap outta my mom...then when we were in my room....without me knowing they took a dagger that belonged to my granddad and apparently hid it so to speak......then they left....after I found out I spent a good hour yellin at them to return it and they swore back saying it was messed up to accuse them of **** and I just forgot it...after we threatend to call the police on them they said it was in the bushes and it was there sure enough....well they claimed they never wanted to take it but I am sure that if I never noticed it they would never have brought it back...one guy told me its just a joke..but I think there not jokes if they leave they guy FUMIng at the end...what do you think?

These guys are jerks, at the very least, and out of control. The nerve of them barging into your home and scaring your mom and then stealing something that does not belong to them. That is not a joke, they are thieves. They are very lucky that your mom did not press criminal charges against them. I would have, if someone burst in to my home in that fashion they would get maced, at the very least and may have been backed out at gunpoint. What a bunch of crap. Taking someone else's property is theft, not a joke. You are very smart to stay away from them. They could have caused your poor mom to have an anxiety attack or a heart attack. I would have contacted the police anyway, just in case these delinquents decide to pull any other crap later on. They are going to pull something like this on someone else and land in jail or get shot....will it be a joke then, I wonder???? You sound like a very smart and savvy young person. Jokes are supposed to be funny. What makes them think that stealing from you is funny? These people are not your friends, and you behaved perfectly (well, maybe not the yelling, but I can't really blame you for having been upset).
And if they hadn't finally confessed, you would have been perfectly right to call the cops. These guys are losers and you can do much, much better than them for friends.

That's not a joke it is rude behavior. Good thing you caught them threatened to call cops and have not spoken to them since. I do not consider people that do that type of stuff friends. They were worried about cops so they said it was a joke to calm you down.
Take the highroad the way you are and do not associate with them again.

WHO barges into another man's home without knocking and asking to come in? First off, learn to lock those doors. You do not want a dead mamma in the kitchen because of a heart attack, nor do you want mamma killing one of your "friends" if you call them that. Take back your respect and demand others to respect your home and your mamma.
Right choice....cut them out and do not find new friends just like them! and AGAIN, protect your mamma. That is part of your duty as a son.

There is nothing wrong with the way you reacted or feel about their behavior. It is wise to distance yourself from them. It might be a good idea to get this incident on record for they could get stupid again and forget what they did last time.
