lol, maybe you should go to the dentist and have your teeth cleaned. Sometimes when you need a cleaning it will leave a sour taste in your mouth.
If you dentist doesn't find anything wrong, maybe you should see a doctor, some chemical imbalance or something in your stomach if you have been dieting.

I have a heavily filled back tooth and I can taste metal. My dentist doesn't seem concerned. I think the only way to get rid of the taste is to get a cap.

actually no that is not normal and is usually associated with bleeding gums or some medicine usually leaves a metalic taste in your mouth like atrovent, albuterol, and prednisone , asmacort ect best advice see an dentist or oral surgeon unless you are taking any of the above Rx then see your dr hope this helps gorbalizer
