What's with all the questians about Christians hating this, and hating that?We are taught to love the sinner but hate the sin.I'm sure there are just as many people who follow different beliefs that disaprove of other peoples lifestyles too.Why is it considered hate to have morals and follow the word of god?

So the lesbians think i should have my head examined. That's funny,i was thinking the same thing about you.
And at what point are people suppose to speak out about others lifestyle? What about someone who likes to rape and kill? Can we dissaprove of them,or is that okay since it's someones "lifestyle".

Pita, you are asking the same question I been wanting to ask the haters of Christianity, but, I remember Jesus telling us that the world hated "Him first", also the word tells us that if any man live godly, they shall suffer persecution.(unquote). Gods word is true!So I just say Lord Jesus forgive them, for they know not what they do. and I ditto, the last clause in your statement, and question, and would like to remind you that, the word also tells us That men love darkness rather than light, because their deeds are evil. (unquote). Christians have the light of Christ in their lives, That light shows up the sin in sinners, the devil hates anything that shows him, and sin up. `nuff said. May God continue bless and keep you, my sister. You go Sister! God, and the Holy Angels in Heaven stand up with you, and so am I, without shame, fear,or any compromise. AMAN! also to the person named above as Renegade, All sin is inborn, thats why Jesus told us we must be born again.so No Excuse for sin in any form or fashion.

How dare you put gays and lesbians in the same category as rapists and murderers! You truly do need your head examined!
That was one of the most ridiculous statements I've ever heard, and you should be ashamed of yourself. You know you're wrong!
That statement already proves how hateful you are.
Try keeping your nose in your bible and OUT of other people's bedrooms. It is NEVER right to judge someone else's sexual appetite. It's none of your business. If you continue to make it your business, you are obsessing on gay sex and I don't think God would approve of that....do you?
The old christian saying "Love the sinner, hate the sin" is exactly what I mean. This puts you on a pedestal and makes you feel superior. Your religion has already created an "Us -vs- Them" attitude...and nothing good can come from your *********, especially ********* in your religion. You fall way too short of Jesus' unconditional love for everyone.
You say you love the sinner but hate the sin, but that is not the love Jesus had for everyone. He loved unconditionally. Your kind of love is conditional, hence it's not real love.
Just face it.
You are a very nosey, bigoted, nasty-minded person.
Get your mind and your nose out of the gutter!
....really.....obsessing on gay sex in the same sentence as saying you're a christian. Give me a break!
Nosey, dirty minded little bigot.
Keep your "morals".
Keep thinking you're so perfect.
Keep being cocky in your religion.
Bet that makes God really happy for you.

I think people ask those kinds of questions for various different reasons. Some ask the questions because they honestly don't understand the concept you described (loving the sinner/hating the sin). Others ask those questions because they want to live their own lifestyle without regard for God, and it makes them angry or frustrated that God has standards. There are yet others who are not asking a questions at all. They are making a statement or accusation disguised as a question. Usually, those people are venting their dislike of Christianity, or baiting Christians to answer contentious questions.
I don't think any of those who ask those kinds of questions have a concept of God's love, grace and forgiveness, nor of his willingness and power to change hearts and lives.

In some cases, the idea of "love the sinner and hate the sin" is ridiculous. Such is the case of the Christian response to homosexuals. Sexual orientation is in-born, so one cannot possibly disapprove of said sexuality without disapproving of the person.

Amen...I guess most of these folks are so into their sin that thay can't see they are not hated. God truely hates the sin and loves the sinner. We are all worth a Son to God.

It is true that Christians are taught to hate the sin & not the sinner, but, it is in people that do the opposite.

You're right. It's not considered hate to have morals. It's considered hate to discriminate and abuse other people who don't have the same beliefs that you do. Some people calling themselves "Christians" behave and believe in a very un-Christian way. The criticisms are directed against THOSE people, not against people living good and moral lives. Live and let live.

"hate the sin" sounds like hating to me. It also sounds delusional.
We are all sinners, but it's hateful to refer to fellow humans that way. It's hateful to scrutinize another persons life with intent to find wrong. We cannot see the love you all claim to possess.
No one is putting you down for having morals, or for the path you follow. It's the hate, straight up.

What a wonderful question? Not only do Christians apparently "hate" some many others, but God does too. I have seen statements about "God hating blacks" and "God hating the world when He flooded it". It's possible to disagree or even get angry without carrying hate in your heart. Jesus taught us to love each other - even our enemies.

I think that people get lumped into one category a lot of times as certain groups portray certain behaviors. Some Christan's do just as you say, others are are haters.
