Have you bothered to read the actual laws in question?
Congress (not the ACLU) has determined that local and state governments cannot enforce immigration laws.
Congress (not the ACLU) has limited state and local law enforcement from dealing with illegal immigration problems.
If you have a problem with the way laws are written, blame the people who wrote them (Congress), not the people who are asking that the laws be neutrally enforced.
The read the lawsuit. The ACLU is not even challenging the provisions against illegal immigrants. What they are challenging are the racial profiling policies that have been enacted to enforce that law, and they are challenging the "english-only" provision, which is a violation of 90 years of Supreme Court precedent.
If states and cities have such a great interest in enforcing the law, they should try following the laws already in place.

The ACLU was founded by the Communist Party to develop and implement legal strategies for seizing Communist control of America. It is hostile to America.
It is the duty of Sovereign Citizens to enforce the law when public servants fail to do so - At All Levels. All Congress said is that non-Federal law enforcers cannot be compelled to enforce Federal immigration laws. It was about budget - they are not receiving Federal payroll to do so.
If you are a Citizen, it is your duty to enforce the Law.
