That's what fathers are all about. His child is growing up and now he is not always right like he use to be when you were younger. I went through that with my kids. We just agree to disagree. I still love them though

He might think that "I'm the Dad and I'm not going to let this punk a$$ kid think he knows more than I do" - but I also need to ask why do you want him to admit he is wrong so bad? The real question you should be asking yourself is "Why do I feel like I have to give my Dad such a rough time all the time?" Quit being the pain in the butt kid and just get along with your Dad!
lol- good luck with your relationship with your Dad!

He will probably never admit he's wrong. Some people are just like that. It's easier to just go around them than to keep beating your head against them. It's like beating a dead horse to get someone like that to admit that he might be wrong.

When people are angry logic goes out the door. A person's state of mind changes and they hear little of what u r saying. Do not bring up an argument. Only try to talk to him when others are present and when things are calm. He is less likely to get angry that way.
Bless you.

Some people will never admit that they are wrong, I'm afraid. My advice is just to not argue with him. Talking to close-minded people is hard, avoid it, not worth raising your blood pressure. He sounds a lot like my boyfriend, hehe.

He sounds as if he is incapable of admitting he is wrong. I don't think you can do it. He certainly won't admit it to his child, I wouldn't think.
My dad never would admit he was wrong either.

Sounds like you have the problem to start with. Why start an arguement in the first place. Why not talk about stuff that you both agree on or how your day was.
