yes, but if you already have some type of relationship with her (i.e. you have a class together, you have common friends, work together, etc.) think about how she acts around you. Does she laugh at your jokes? Does she ever make physical contact with you (touch your arm when you're talking or something like that)? If any of that happens, she may be waiting for you to ask her out. Even if you barely know her and don't really talk all that much, you have NOTHING to lose in asking her out (if she says no, you already weren't dating her and if she says yes, then :-)
At the very least, it does get easier to ask girls out (especially when you've had a few "yes"es (sp?). Plus, no matter what any guy says, they've been nervous before asking someone out at some time in their life

I think it's completely normal! I mean it's not easy for us girls either we may not act like it but we are scared to death to. The easiest way to make it better is just ask! Besides, the worst that can happen is she can say no, in which case, you know that God has another perfect girl out there waiting for you! So conjure up your courage and go for it!

yes it's natural to be nervous to ask a girl out guys get butterfly in there stomache like girls do dont mean your a wuss, just take it one at a time and gradualy ask her out if she says no then just go your own way there other girls out there but hey if your cute u shouldnt have nothing to worry about right. your welcome and god bless you back and god will follow you with your prays and anwer them also our good lord.

if you're asking a girl out to commit un-Godly acts with her, I don't think "God" would approve.
Don't listen to mountie - the first one is the hardest. It gets easier, soon no big deal. My advice is to get the first one out of the way and learn from it. It's actually better if you ask out someone you're only mildly interested in instead of absolutely crazy for. Makes the rejection easier.

The girl is probably just as nervous as you, so calm down and enjoy each other's company. This reaction is perfectly normal for all ages.
