I knew pretty much the moment we met. There is no one in the world like my wife, really the most wonderful person.

The first time? It was about four days after we met...and we were hanging out at his (now ex) best friend's house. He passed out from drinking too much, and while he was passed out, his best friend kissed me.
Immediately, I realized that I didn't want his friend kissing me. Then, my thoughts went a step further, and I realized I didn't want ANYONE else kissing me...ever again. And then, I was scared sh!tless, lol, because I knew what that meant.
About three weeks later, I moved in with him. Five months after that, we were engaged. Eight months after that, we were married. It's now been almost three years (our three year anniversary is on the 13th of this month)...and several times a day I realize that I STILL can't live without him, and don't want anyone else kissing me.
I had an inkling before his friend kissed me though...Shawn (my husband) was the first thing I thought about in the morning when I woke up, the last thing I thought about before I went to bed, and every moment in between was consumed with thoughts of him.
The moment I saw him, I thought he was the sexiest guy I'd ever seen. Fresh out of basic, blue eyes, light brown hair, and he was really FIT. Purrr.
He's gained some weight (so have I, lol, I learned the joys of cooking!)...and the lines under his eyes are showing more (so are mine, lol)...but I love him more than anything in the world.

I knew the mintue I met my husband. We were both in the Army and at a school together. The first night I met him, I stole one of his cowboy boots at a bar we had all went out to. That night I told my friend and roommate at the school that I was going to marry him. We've been together for 8 years now.

Maybe a couple of months after we started dating. I realized it when it occured to me that he was my best friend, I had never felt so open with anyone before. We have been together for 9 years on Monday, and every day I love him more.

On one level I knew the moment that I saw her that I was crazy for her. However, over a period of time I came to find other reasons for loving her as I discovered other of her many facets, and it has just seemed to continue that way for the last 30 years.

It took me 12 years of just being friends, one bad marriage, and the death of his sister to realize I love my current husband. I actually realized it at his sister's funeral. Weird... I know. She always wanted us to get together.
