Your vet can trim his beak or you can put items that are rough in his cage and try to get him to rub against it. But if their beak gets too long they can have problems eating. Good luck.

His beak will need to be trimmed. Otherwise it'll grow too long for him to eat with.
You can either file it down yourself or have a vet do it. If you do it yourself, be careful not to file it down too close to the quick (the live part), or it can make his beak bleed (have some styptic on hand, just in case). Also be sure to hold the bird without squeezing it. That is harder than it sounds! If you can get a 2nd person to help, so much the better.

maybe you start filing at it carefully, or maybe let your vet do that, beaks are made of the same stuff as hair and nails, so if you file it, the bird shouldn't be harmed.

Take it to an avian vet right away. Sudden beak overgrowth can indicate severe problems like liver disease.

Get it a cuttle bone, that's what they sell them for. If it's already too late, your Vet can trim the beak down for you.
GOOD LUCK!!

you can clip it yourself with nail clippers....i did one of mine about 2 months back.wear gloves and grab the bird..straighten the wings so they're not bent while you're holding it and just clip it quick.you should also have a gentle hold on its head while you're doing it. or just take it to a pet shop...toe nails need clipping too and do it the same way only with them ,,don't clip too close to the skin.....
