You will have so much fun being a bridesmaid. It is kind of dumb that you have to walk with an 11-year-old, but you are doing this for the bride. Hopefully if you do really have to dance with him, it will only be once. You won't have to "hang out" with him at the reception.
I have always found it fun to be a bridesmaid, so just go with the flow, the 11-year-old is not going to like it anymore than you do.
Good luck and remember to have fun.

Kick off your shoes for the dance that's 2-3 inches of height difference removed... relax no one is expecting you to look like professionals, let him lead, keep 6-10 inches of space between you (a bit of distance reduces the height comparison so much).. Have fun if you get tripped up or if he doesn't dance well it really doesn't matter as long as you look like you are having fun you can dance like quazimodo on rollerskates no one cares...

Be graceful and kind.
It's done all the time.
Adults will think it is sooo cute, and applaud you.
Be sure to give him a cute curtsy when the dance is over, and tell him, "thank you kindly, sir", even if the words hang up in your throat.
Everyone will love you all the more for being so gracious and kind.
For pete's sake, don't be a baby!

No problem - you just dance normally. Grownups dance with guys shorter than us all the time.

Everyone has had to do this at one time or another. Believe me, at your ages you won't have more than one dance together, so relax.

just dance with him and remember that he may have taller and older friends to hang with so don't discount the experience
he's probably asking how to dance with a taller and older woman
