We're not "winning" because this isn't a winning situation. The war in Iraq should never have happened. We're dumping billions of dollars and costing thousands of lives because Bush doesn't want to admit he was wrong. Too bad people have to die because of it. That country is in civil war in my mind, the people fighting there are Shiites vs. Sunni's.....what does that have to do with WMD's??? Isn't that why we're there???

Nobody wins at war. I've often felt that it was all a ploy to take advantage of the company's resources. That's the reason why the US wanted to make sure that Iraq was unable to burn oil fields like in Desert Storm. As one of the others said,Bush and his family has made a fortune off petroleum. Although nobody wins at war, some people do reap Huge profits. The military collects from the sale of arms. Who do you think is going to get Saddam's billions? Surely it will not go back to the Iraqis.

We are not winning the war in IRAQ.We did overthrow Sadam but the country is now in a Civil War when an average of 100 people are killed each day. Partitioning the country into 3 areas for kurds, shites, and sunnis will not work either.

What does Bush mean by getting the job done? Where is Bush's Plan B? He may have complained that Kerry flip/flopped but Bush is to rigid. Time to make changes.

pondering Saddam might desire to no longer administration the borders of Iraq with a million squaddies how might desire to the individuals with 0.5 that quantity. comparable bunch have been sneaking weapons for the era of then as now, purely distinction we hear of their assaults now. ok countless the weapons have been been introduced in by ability of the CIA and Mossad for use on the Iraqi human beings. I do bear in mind some explosions reported in Baghdad earlier the conflict concentrated at civilians in basic terms weren't on Fox information are any information employer fairly. Who cared in any respect that some Sunni's have been been killed till some individuals have been on the floor caught up interior the mess.

Technically? We won the war in Iraq. We won when Saddam's regime collapsed and the Iraqi army disintegrated. What we are losing is the peace. Our soldiers are dying every week, Iraqi civilians are dying every day. If a roadside bomb were to go off some place in the United States and kill a dozen people it would be on every news channel. MSNBC, CNN, FOX, they would all have around the clock coverage. Well, this kind of thing is happening in Iraq every day! That's why I don't understand bush when he talks about "staying the course". Does he think we will capture or kill every last insurgent then Iraq will have some peace? Is he really that naive? This thing has gone on for years and will continue to go on. Bush has already washed his hands of it, talking about how the next administration will have to deal with this.

I'm sorry to say that this war will never be won by the United States until ALL the Iraqi population bands together and removes all the terrorists from their country.

Well, actually it was started to make money. He and channey own Halburton and it has made trillions. So they are rich off that war and have a better chance of getting the oil fields if they kill all the Iraq citizens. All it is costing is a few poor boys, from the south. So to them yes.
