its best to have to separate feed dishes. the fruits and veggies spoil quickly and need removed daily and the dish washed well.always check the seed dish and make sure it isn't all seed hulls.knew somebody that starved a bird once cause they thought the seed hulls were seed.for a special treat you can roll some fruits or veggies in seeds but when the bird is done with it remove it cause it will spoil fast.also give your bird hard boiled egg whites.sounds gross but it is really good for it and they like it.

Yes, but make sure it's in a different dish. Sprinkling seeds on the veggies and fruit is a way to get a budgie use to the idea that these things are good to eat. But you always need a different dish just for seed.

This questions is tricky, YES you may feed fruits, Veggies, AND seed to your bird. You should put fruits and Veggies in one dish and seed in another, NOT together. It will make the seed nasty. Just being sure I'm clear here.

Don't mix veggies and fruits! Yuk! Give them separate dishes and let them try the different tastes. Be sure to cut the pieces small and only leave the bowls in the cage for an hour or so. Then remove and wash them.
Try unsalted peanuts in the shell...they love to work at getting the nuts out. Also try Chinese pea pods. Wash them and hang a few in their cage. They love them! Good luck!

i would not mix the fruits and veggies with the seed. seed can remain all day, where fruits and veggies go bad after a couple of hours, and need to be removed , so you don't make the bird sick.

Yes, it is best to have at least two food dishes. One for dry foods like seed and one for "wet" foods like fruits/veggies. Keep 'em separated.
