questions i have read have several answers that can only be described as smutty! why do that when people ask for help or advise?

Sadly, as the saying goes, 'all human life is here'.
You may also have noticed that Answers is turning into a dating/contact site at times.
I think if everyone who joined up was given a set amount of points which was deducted every time they answered,they may be a little more cautious about what they replied to,and how often.
Just a thought, but you have my sympathy.

Not that it's an excuse, but the pool of people answering is LARGE. There are all types in there and some are a little more thoughtful than others. Think of it this way: Some people are letting you know up front that you should probably just skp over their answers.

People that answer with smut are usually children or adolescents, who think they r being funny or think they r cool. They r not, their stupid

cause they get the points and some of us we are on this to give our input ouput or what ever is also a n escape or out thoughts and is more fun

because most of the questions here are so childish, even 5 year olds wouldn't ask, because they will know the answer.
