Please consider adoption. There are lots of Parrot Rescues that would love to take your application, and lots of parrots that need good homes.

Professional breeders were flourishing in the 80's, you could always find a bird that needed a home. But backyard breeders put many out of business slashing the prices not realizing the overall cost REAL breeders deserve for providing the BEST care, top technology, and latest equipment which means cleaner, safer, healthier Chicks and Adults. There are fewer Breeders now, so You just need to keep pounding the pavement, and may have to drive out somewhere like Florida.
