Some hotels locally are just staffed by Russians here working who came here on student visas who are not in school and never were who got them after 9-11. Many are working in fast food restaurants from other countries and in stores locally. I just found this out recently and it scared me very badly to learn because the terrorists came here on student visas. I thought if they were spending all this money on tightening up the Mexican border (supposedly it is tightened up) that they had taken care of student visas first.

FYI: It is "September 11th".
It is not 7-4-76
It is not 12-7-41
It is not 6/6/44

It is "September 11th" because some of us in this money worshipping American age still have the value of "respect" like our grandparents had for the deaths occured on Pearl Harbor Day, or the sacrifices made by our forefathers in the Colonial Revolution or the horrors and efforts our Father and Grandfathers made storming the beaches of Normandy.
We have become such a society that worships or respects nothing except "money" and the "money-makers"...who coined the term so that they wouldn't have to spend the extra money typing it out or taking up airtime saying the full, respectful-to-the-dead title.
And Americans wonder why another culture sees us as so disrespectful as to need to be exterminated. "9/11" is the very thing that got us "September 11th".

Honestly, I would guess the number is probably the same or a little lower. There are so many who come here, then realize how good it is and just won't go back. There is an expiration on the visas, but it is not like someone from Immigration Services will come to their house to take them home when it expires. It is like once they are here, they can easily disappear. It is really scary.
