Is it necessary to be humorless before I become a Fundamenalist, or can I become a Fundamentalist first, and then start working on that sin of laughing?

You have a sense of humor?

:)

Yes. As a fundamentalist, you have to realize that words are more important than anything else, even life itself. You would never again be able to say anything even remotely humorous because you would either be creating a falsehood (if it's a story joke) or being insincere (if you use sarcasm) or being disrespectful to the Word if you use language for anything that is not in your scripture, whichever scripture you happen to choose.
Or you could suppose that life is more valuable than words, then feel free to laugh your @$$ off. Your choice.

The real key to becoming a Fundamentalist is learning how to point out what other people are doing wrong. That way you can mess around as much as you want to and no one will notice because they're all too busy crucifying someone else.

Yes, sense of humor needs to go first, then learn your script. You may not answer any question without quoting bible verses or threatening hell. If you accidentally laugh, you will have to condemn yourself to hell. People may think you're schizphrenic when you do this, but you won't see them, your blinders that were issued to you will keep that from happening.

We'll miss you =(

-Respect of others
-Ability to tell when you're being asked a rhetorical question
-Wit
-Sense of Humor

Get rid of your sense of humor first, then work on your ability to think critically and look for knowledge.

I don't use the "label" fundamentalist, but if you want to open your heart to loving Christ...the only thing that you need to lose is your attitude.

It doesn't do anyone any good, least of all you!

No you don't have to get rid of your sense of humor. God gives us the ability to laugh. Christians laugh more than non Christians because they have less stressors.

Where did you get that foolish information from????....you need to seek a GOD Anointed, Appointed, Pastor/Minister to spiritually train and educate you in the things of GOD!......until then , you will continue to talk like a "FOOL"........(Psalms 14: 1), (John 14: 6), ( Acts 4: 12)...........ps. there are other optiontions if you have decided in your carnal mind that things should be the way you, and only you want them to be outside of GOD.........then go to a site that believes the same way you believe.....simple as that!....
