I know it sucks, but you need to respect your mother and her rules. You will be 18 and able to move out soon enough and do what you want. For now just let this argument go and spend time together doing the things your mom will let you.

Maybe try sitting your mom down and telling her, how you feel bout her bein over protective, let her know where you stand, and if that doesnt work well than i dont think there's much u can do, now make sure when u talk to her, u dont come at her, defensive, be calm, be mature and try to work thrut things, i hope things work out, soon i'll probably be postin' this same question tho! Any ways hope I helped! If u have anything more on yo mind or what eva email me at eshavonnetucker@yahoo.com

prove 2 her how much u r mature. Fighting and argueing will get u no where. I learned that the hard way. Im 16 and it has taken alot 4 parents 2 let me date. Just agree with everything she says(even if u dont and not in a sarcastic way). Eventually, she will have 2 let u go. Show her, dont tell her.

well what is your moms problem just being over protective? maybe you can give details such as all your going to go do is see a movie or go to a fair or event and then eat dinner and come home ... you could make it a day-time to night thing insted of a thing that goes from 8-12 make it from like 5-8 so that its still bright outside when you get home because parents are afraid of the night when there children are out!

You tell your mom your going to stay the night at a friends house. Then you guys tell her mom your going skating or to a movie,or even a church function. Then you set up a double date or a separate date and meet up at a reasonable time. Keep it simple with the story telling in the end so your stories match and then it will be a done deal.

You could always invite her to go with you. As soon as she realizes that he is a good guy maybe she will let you go out the next time alone.

If you're 16 or over, you should be able to date.
If you're under 16, you shouldn't be dating except in group dates
The idea is to keep temptation down to a mimium

it depends how old you are. but you could sit her down and tell her that you wont kiss or have sex. you will just go t o the movies or something. tell her it would be like you hanging out with a friend who just so happens to be a guy.

Let mom know that you have high values just like her. Let her know that you believe in the same things that she does and she will understand.
Butter mom up. It works when you do this!

Everybody is asking you for your age and his age, plus some more detail. My guess is that your mom is right and you just want somebody to side with you. Good Luck.
