When the answering machine says, please press pound (#) at the end of your message, and you don't, does the message still get recorded?

Yes, the only difference is once you press pound you are giving other options as far as if you want to send it urgent or re-record. Hanging up after recording your message still gets the message to where it needs to go.

yes it still records your message, sometimes that just means to use for a longer message or to just choose what type of message you want to use.
