We'd only get married in about 6 years if i said yes anyway. He just doesn't want to lose me to someone else. But i wanna find the love of my life in university.

What? you are too young to be married. Don't accept it. Just be friends. Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders. Enjoy life and experience it first. There a lot to learn.

You have to be crazy to get married or even accept his proposal at such a young age. I'm not much younger than you are, and I don't find myself proposing to girls I like. I agree, you shouldn't let yourself get tied down just because he's so sexy and hot and all that. What if he's only playing you for a fool and in the end he'll drop you for someone else? I'd like you more to avoid getting your heart broken than to risk breaking it. Why not just go out with him, rather than saying the "I do's."

I think you know what to do. If you aren't ready for a committmet that big tell him. you and him both being 16 need to live a little and experience other people before making such a HUGE commitment.

Kaddy...hormones can't pay the rent or bring home the bacon...tell him you are both too young. Explore your mind, see the world...don't get stuck in the 'hood or hooked at such a young age. In 10 years, after you've accomplished more...then start thinking about the 60 years you have left, the family you want. Shheeesshhhh! You have 70 or more years left!!!!!

16 is WAY too young to even consider marriage. Trust me I learned this from first hand experience. Just wait a few more years, if you guys are still together and want to get married then I would consider it. You have so much life ahead of you!!!!!

I would have to say ur crazy if u get married at 16! if u really love each other then u will still be together in a few years...get married then. And if he doesn't understand that then its his problem. I hate to quote the media but "true love waits" (on marriage too)

well ur 16 and young and everything seems so great then. but are you sure you want to spend THE REST OF YOUR ENTIRE LIFE with him? and why are you judging on saying yes or no by only his looks? i think its too young. say to him that you are not ready to be thinking of marriage with him and such. tell him to wait and ask when your both older.

This is lust, not love. Figure out a way to satisfy the sexual desire without making either of you feel guilty (there are lots of books about this) and then see what happens in a few months. Just postpone the decision on a "yes" or a "no".

If you love him than just say yes. U don't have to get married right away. Just while ur in engaged just go swim with the other fish in the sea. And if you find one better than give him back his ring and go to the other guy. And if you don't you'll always have your man.
