I have a family of four, and I'm right there with you honey. It amazes me that no matter how often I hold seminars on "Changing the Toilet Paper Roll" or "Putting the Lid on the Toothpaste" or "Putting the Empty Glass in the Sink" or any of the others I do (lol-not really seminars, but I do make a point of bringing it up) the ideas have not caught on. Get this; one time I even bought some post it notes, and in a fit of madness walked around the house putting notes beside my pet peeves. Guess what? The next day someone, in a very childish, eight year old scribble, had written "It was not me. Casper did it" by the toilet paper roll, in my husbands barely legible script was the note "Sorry honey, I'll catch it next time" written beside the trash can, and a scrap piece of paper with "ooppss" taped to the soggy koolaid dripping mess that had been my latest attempt to write a poem. I've kinda learned to deal with it.

As far as the toilet paper goes, I usually buy the double rolls, and change them out myself when it gets kid of low, and put the remenent on top of the toilet for whoever might need it to blow their noses with.

Yeah, i blame my cat when that happens. Florence the cat loves to act mischevious at times and take the toilet paper for a dry run around the house with her stuck to it.

Other than that, i always find that a separate bathroom just for you is what you need. Have your own lock and key and make sure it has the best marble in the town as material in it. That will make others envious and then you can blame them whenever they ask why...

Your not alone. The other half will take a new roll into the toilet, finish the old one and still put the new one on the window sill.

Sorry, I have to laugh. You must be female. It's not only you. Considering there are worse things that could be going on I just put the new roll on. Not a battle I choose to get in to.
