Hoodia has worked for me...and with no side effects.
Check with your doctor before starting any weight loss program.

For all you doubters, here is the prior feedback for another Answers user who followed my advice:

Asker's Rating: *****
very good comment i lost 2 lbs in a week
i think i can almost get in my leather dress, i can hit the town in no time

**** VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO GET RIPPED OFF ---

#1. Be sure you are buying pure Hoodia...look for the import certificate on the website. No matter the price, if they do not display this, you really do NOT know what you are getting!

#2. Be sure it is 100% Hoodia & not mixed w/other herbs, etc.!!

#3. Keep in mind it stops your hunger pangs…you MUST remember to break your habit to always eat at certain times.

#4. Drink a full 8oz. glass of water with it!

Hoodia (HOOD-ee-uh) gordonii - A genus of 10 to 20 species from southwestern Africa.
Hoodia gordonii is the stoneage wonder plant found throughout the dry arid regions of the South western African continent now on the verge of making history in the fight against obesity. It is a genus belonging to the Asclepiadaceae family which consists of approximately 20 species. Used to stop hunger, quench thirst, and provide energy among other things since prehistoric times, Hoodia gordonii was first discovered by the San tribesmen and women to get through the most difficult of times.

Nothing that's safe!

Speaking as someone who is a mere three stones overweight and a chocaholic I know that it is because a) I consume more calories than I use and b) I sometimes eat when I'm bored.

The fact of the matter is that more and more often we eat for pleasure and/or for comfort and almost no-one is prepared to tolerate any avoidable discomfort including feeling hungry. Waiting for a meal is out of the question when grazing is so easy.

It's like smoking or not being sarcastic, it requires an ACT OF WILL to not fulfill our smallest desire as soon as it crosses our minds.

Yes there is, Im on it its available from the GP if you have lots of weight to lose. You take it before a meal and if you eat anything that has fat in it ..well shall we just say you spend a bit of time in the loo. Not very nice, but it teaches you to eat the right thing. To get it, the GP will have to see that you can lose at least half a stone on your own. The tablets are called.......Xenical

Yes....there are diet pills that help supress your appetite, but PLEASE be careful and speak to a doctor first. I took Meridia to help with wieght loss 2 years ago, and after suffering a severe headache a day after starting the pills, lost vision in one of my eyes. My vision has not improved, and doctors are still trying to figure out what happened. It appears thar the pills made my blood pressure spike and caused a mini-stroke. So again...I know my case is rare, and yes, while I took the pills- I wasn't hungry...but is your health worth it? Please think carefully before taking any diet pills....at least not before you try exercise and smaller portions with your food.

well for a week, i went on a one wholesome meal a day diet...breakfast and dinner i had oats, fruits and salad with milk. lunch i had a balanced meal..for a week. by the second week my stomach capacity shrunk that i only could eat half serving of everything...then i did crunches....now i only could eat little that i choose what i put in my mouth....all healthy food.
