metaraison your answer is in pound not kg.I think you got your conversion wrong. 22000 pounds equal 10 tons. 1kg equals 9.81N but usually we use as a rough guide 1kg equals 10Newton. Therefore 10kN is equal 1 ton. Your answer should be roughly 10 ton which is the answer given by the first guy who answered.

MashAllah happy to hear that you reverted to Islam. I did years ago. Be careful sister to only follow what you find in the glorious Quran and Hadith. Many new Muslims including myself get confused between culture and religion. They were raised having culture and religion mixed together and so it is hard for them to seperate the two. Some times we are guided to things that are from culture. Be sure you find the difference. Since we are not converting to a different culture and we will get rewarded for following what Allah s.w.t wants us to do. If you ever have any questions and I can help please email me.Congratulations. You will find Islam is the religion that will protect you as a woman if you insist on your rights. 5 pillars of Islam 1. Pray 5 times a day 2. Fasting in the month of Ramadan. 3. Saying your shahada or declaring your belief in Allah and his messenger. 4. Making Hajj once in your life if you are able. 5. Paying zakat

2.2 Lb/Kg X 10 X 10^3 := 22 X 10^3 Lb. = 22 ton

is it tonnes in KILO ?

one kilo corresponds to 10 Newton
one ton is thousend KILO
thus one ton corresponds to 1000 * 10 Newton = 10 kN
and 100kN to 10 ton ( 10 thousend KILO )

Note that when your ton is not in KILO but POUND then you have to modify these calculations.
