Yes actually, but then I realized that the thoughts were just a manifestation of my own unresolved anger toward the person. Once I worked through my issues, (it took years to undo the emotional damage), I no longer had those feelings. Maybe what you see has regret is really guilt because you had negative thoughts that you were ashamed of. You have a right to feel the way you feel as long as you don't lash out and hurt others.

This has happened to me more often than I'd care to admit. (Though I just did.) The one solace I have is that so little of what I imagine might happen actually DOES happen, that it doesn't really matter all that much. People are always saying, "Don't say that; how would you feel if it came true?" or "Don't even THINK that." The fact is, unless you're actually out there wielding a gun or an axe, a little constructive imaginary obliteration of others isn't the WORST thing one could do.

If it starts becoming a habit, or more than a passing notion, you might want to seek help. Otherwise, I think you're just admitting what a lot of us are honestly thinking.

You can regret feelings all you want, but you can't deny them. WHat you feel is just what you feel. The guilt may come from the fact that if the person actually DID die, you may blame yourself b/c you've wished it upon them.

But just b/c you wish for somebody to die; it doesn't mean God is answering your wish.

So just relax and don't feel bad. Aslong as you're not doing the killing; it's all good.

But you may want to work out your anger in some way. Talk to somebody or make amends with this person some how. Try journaling too.

I'm sure we all have wished bad things on someone at one point of time, even when we were younger, it's called a part of life, but at the same time, it called feelings. Now, I can remember when I was coming up as a child, my mom use to whip me just because of me being me, and tom boy at that time, climbing up a tree or ripping my tights things in that nature, and I use to say,"I wish she get ran over by a truck!" I was mad because of those spanking. It's called feeling hurt, and that's something we will always feel, but at the same time, I was younger then, now as for you, If someone is hurting you, get away from them on the real note...Your life is what is important....your thoughts are human, just don't react to them

No, I honestly never wished death on anyone maybe a few times I said "Take a Hike" but that's all. To me that sort of wish is very harsh and cruel and they always say be careful for what you wish for!

Yes, my last two ex-boyfriends - and they DID!!! I felt real guilty afterwards, but relieved that they were gone. Both died from drinking and drugging too much. One was 41 and the other 52. I tried to get them treatment and they wouldn't go. I then wished they would die to put them out of misery (and me). I know they are finally at peace.

It sounds as if someone has hurt you. Success is the best revenge. Be happy and don't let her (I am assuming this is a her) see that she has you down. Move on in your life and find someone else. That will show her.

Thanks god it has never happened to me but it really must be a terrible feeling.God may help those people who experience this feeling but just tell yourself that even if you didn't think ill of them they would have gone anyway (as there time had come). Its not your fault your rest asure your thought didn't kill them, they were destined to die that day and its just a coincidence that your thought about it.
