If they knew it was going to happen, why didn't at least ONE of them warn anybody?

The psychics WERE trying to warn everybody, but they weren't given any uses of the common mass media in order to get their warning across. Those who heard the psychics' warnings decided not to listen to hem and therefore, not to believe them, because of the common fact that when psychics make a prediction that contains an exact date, about 90% of the time, nothing happens on the date that the psychic had predicted that something would happen on.

They were doing what Psychics always do. Either:
(a) working out how to scam some other sucker out of some dough or
(b) trying to make sense out of the random rubbish we all have floating through our heads.
Depending on whether they are
(a) con artists or
(b) genuinely just as deluded as their clients

i can't remember the names of the physics but i remember seeing some on television pre 9-11 and they were warning of terrorist attacks.
