I feel absolutely wonderful and get alot more done!!! I have been clean for years and the first six months were the hardest. I felt good but had to keep going to meetings - alot that first year. Almost every day and call your sponsor everyday. Prayer helps. If you don't feel good, you may have depression and need medicene. Talk to an Addictionalogist or Psychologist. Good luck, and hang in there. Email me anytime. Kitty L

I did almost anything you can name, but i never used a needle. Stay strong. I quit using drugs last April, you gotta pray, take time to learn about yourself
Since I quit drugs, I make better choices, i get along better with others, and I went back to school, quit calling in sick so much work. Now I stand back and take a look at my life an I wanna be a better person. I hope that your recovery goes well.

I was sick for months, then found out that I was sick because I was drinking 40-50 cups of coffee every day.
After I realized what was the cause, I felt great.
So hang in there.
This is what I was told:
If you lose your job, don't drink or drug.
If your wife runs off with another man, don't drink or drug.
If your wife runs off with another woman, don't drink of drug.
If your @$$ falls off, don't drink or drug.
Seriously, I cried a lot, I banged my fists into walls, I howled at the moon. But now that I have grown up a little bit, I don't do that any more. I ate lots of green grapes and Hershey bars, and drank a lot of vanilla milkshakes.
My best to you. email me if you wish.

Well, look around at the people in the world....Separate them into addicts that are still using, and normal people & former addicts that have fixed their lives up.
Who's happier? Who's more successful? Who wakes up in the morning and has less to worry about?
Hang in there! You'll be amazed!

How great for you! I'm going on 8 years myself and I still take one day at a time. I just think about all the money I have been saving myself.
