You can definitely gain weight on a healthy diet! It's a really great thing that you want to do it the healthy way. Your body will benefit greatly! So basically you have to start counting your calories, and in order to gain weight steadily you need to be taking in about 3500 a day. This might sound difficult, but some healthy ideas to help you achieve this are:
sweet potatos and yams (plain, baked- tastes great and if you get a big one, it adds up to at least 350 calories!)
Peanut butter and Almond Butter
Jasmine Rice, Barley, Brown Rice (1 Cup can be up to 300 calories!)
Good luck :)

First losing (or gaining) weight has to do with calories and exercise, not diet. A diet is a lifelong lifestyle of eating, not just a few fad recipes to change your body size. To eat healthy is to concentrate on nutrition and not on so much on portion sizes and calories.

Fresh Fruits, fresh vegetables, unprocessed grains (whole wheat, oatmeal ,brown rice, etc.) are nutrient-rich. Though we are known for consuming vast amounts of meat, the actual truth is that you only require 2-3 ounces per meal. Keep away from processed ( junk) foods. They're full of fats, sugars and salt as well as things like high fructose corn syrup, locust bean gum, and chemical preservatives.
The key to healthy eating is as simple as Animal Vegetable or Mineral. Eat more vegetables and fewer animals and even fewer minerals.Supplementing your diet with vitamins and minerals is alright if they are water soluble but the better you eat, the less of them you'll need. Try to keep towards organic, chemically produced vitamins and minerals tend not to digest well and can pass through the body without even breaking down.

though low calorie, cuisine meals are highly processed. the less processed and more natural a food is the better it is for you. Cook your own brown rice and chicken breast as an alternative. What makes you lose weight is expending more calories than you take in. Figure how many calories you need a day to maintain your weight then make sure you dont go under that. And exercise is so beneficial in many ways. If you dont already exercise then i would look into it. You will just need to raise the amount of calories you take in to offset the expenditure during exercise.

I would recommend Mercola.com and the Makers Diet. Both of these are healthy eating lifestyles. THey lay out a plan of healthy foods and non healthy foods. It will at least give you an idea of what you should change. Both of them are not weight loss plans, they are just healthy lifestyle choices.
