I refuse to go there but fact has it that statistically women are better drivers than men. You might find that hard to believe but it is true. If you are a male between the age of seventeen and twenty five you really are in the worst possible bracket. Ask your insurance company why the cost goes down after 25 and why cheaper for women.

It is not that women are bad drivers, men just cannot multi-task behind the wheel like women (i,e, kids ) and men cannot leave the home 20 minutes before a appointment, they leave 10 minutes before they are supposed to be there and the appointment is 15 minutes away.

Some women (a lot of them actually) begin by thinking there can't be any big problems for them to have to deal with. I think some never get past this stage.
On the whole women make up the 'average driver' group - rarely the worst nor best.
I don't think their preference for tailgating is about spatial awareness, more to do with not questioning their own alertness.

How did you manage to steer a question about driving into the forum on rail transportation? Did you get distracted while putting on your makeup?

Because driving requires a certain degree of thinking. They are missing a gene for that.

I object to that general sweeping statement!

State your source.

Why do men have more accidents? and why are insurance premiums going up by 16% for young male drivers, Yet female drivers get discount???
