A well-bred Cocker is a sweet dog, unfortunately most out there aren't well-bred. So be sure to deal with a reputable breeder, and ask if you can talk to others who have purchased pups from them in the past as references.

Go to www.akc.org & you will find listings of breed clubs. Buy from a breeder that belongs to the breed's club & certifies their breeding dogs free from genetic defects, for a healthy, well adjusted pup from the start - and continuing support from the breeder when questions arise. Good luck!

nextdaypets.com

Most of these sites let you search for dogs by your city name or zip code.
