subscribed virus protection bought and paid for but still get pop up saying my service ends 8/3/06. How can I get this unecessary popup off my computer.

Since you renewed your virus protection, there is a website for your product, check there and read the FAQ's for removal of the annoying pop-up, if you don't find the answer then email the Customer Care that provides your service.

It will block anything you don't need !
