If he didn't do the act, then he is not guilty of it. We all imagine "what-ifs", I think it's natural to wonder who, what, when, where and how.The only sin he would be guilty of is the thought of his temptation. That is Satan speaking.
The man knew it was wrong and he had a battle of circumstance. God prevailed. The man, would be rewarded. Satan was always trying to tempt Jesus in many areas of his life, but Jesus always kept in mind, that Satan was a fallen angel(Lucipher) and that Satan knows the Bible from cover to cover and he uses manipulation as his tool to win souls.

Very difficult moral situation you have. If you're going off the God of the Bible it says that if a man looks at a woman so as to lust after her he has already commited fornication. However not acting on it shows self-control. But if the only reason you're not acting on it is because you don't want to get caught you have commited a sin. Sins are not greater than any sin, no matter if it's murder or if it's lying. The only thing that matters is your true repentant attitude. If you repentant and are trying to stop yourself from continueing these actions then God may forgive you, we don't know because we are not God. But if you do as the Catholics allow and just say, "Hey I'm sorry I did this, I'm in the black now with the big man right?" You will not be forgiven. So it depends on his attitude later.

Who cares, God can't put him in prison, even if he did exist. So screw it, dream about robbing Fort Knox all you want. While doing it, give "god" the finger, he can't stop you.

If the only reason you don't steal is because you fear punishment then you are a thief. If the only reason you don't murder is because you fear punishment then you are a murder. It is what is in our hearts that makes us what we are not those things we actually do.. This is why we need Jesus so much, because all of us are thieves, killers, and liars.... Jim
