After 7 years? Maybe he doesn't want to be found. But you go ahead sweetie. You open that can of worms. You'll no doubt regret it so you'd better think this all the way through.
Sometimes it's best to let sleeping dogs lie. Know what I mean?

There's an expression, let sleeping dogs lie. Do you really want him in your daughter's life? Maybe he doesn't want to be a father to her, it certainly sounds that way. I know my husband would never just leave his children, but sadly there are adults out there who have absolutely no problem with it. Hopefully you can find a man to have in your life who can take over and be a father to your daughter, but if not, then you'll continue as you've done these past 6 years and be a single parent. But don't invite some loser into your life for the sake of your daughter having a father. Sometimes not having a father is better than having a horrible one.

Have you tried doing an online 'people search'? I did one the other day, paid like 7.95 for addresses that an old friend used to have. You might try that. Or post an ad in the paper where family/friends of his live. Best of luck!

If you still have any of his important documents that have his social security number or any other identifying document, you can go to one of these search sites and pay the minimum and there is a good chance you can find where he is, especially if you have that social security number. You can find him and where he is located.

Try the State prison for deadbeat dads. If he is not there, then put him there.
