You can get free ordination credentials through the Church of Universal Life. They may still also offer, for a fee, degrees of various sorts. For example, Doctor of Divintiy.

You may discover that it is time-consuming and expensive to get non-profit status recognized by the IRS. You might get help with this from various legal charities, such as the ACLU.

The Church of Scientology, for example, fought with the IRS for years, and won, but it was expensive.

You need to first understand human dynamics. Once you do that, you tell people what they want to hear and set yourself up as the guru who can give people the knowledge they're seeking. With your knowledge of human dynamics, manipulate people and get your followers to create stories that attest to your miraculous and special nature. Make sure that you always combine at least 80% of truth in with the bullsh!t. You have to make it convincing. Make sure that you appeal to people's desire to be special and have an identity (e.g. Wicca and Paganism are attractive because of that). Oh -- and you absolutely MUST have a group that you target against (e.g. pick the atheists, or 'secular society as a whole' or whatever). This is the fastest way to get a successful, new religion.

First you need to find some gullible people to be your followers.

Start preaching about how awesome you, and your faith are.

You must include some terrible outcome if they don't follow you, like they will be tortured in the afterlife. A good example of a torture they may need to endure is that they would attend church for all eternity in the afterlife if they don't join your religion.

Then build a structure where your prophets can preach about your awesome faith and then you get to sit back and collect.

Anyway, the ball is in your court to play, but i will rather advice you not to go for that, firstly you don't know the reason why he wanted to leave his former wife, and again do you think ,if you eventually marry him,the same thing will not happen to you.
Pls be warned, there is a lot of guy outside there ,the responsible one ,looking for a reliable lady to marry,if you have the believe and prayerful, you will get your own choice.

I have no idea but I did read once that L. Ron Hubbard said he was starting "Scientology" because he would get paid more for each word he wrote if he was writing a religious bible rather than writing a book.

Easy. Name me High General of the Black Masses, in charge of All Holy Propaganda. I'll organise the cult for His Honour the Worm. You will give me 50% of your income, and we'll both be happy. It will be so easy to find gullible people.

first find a definition of religion that suits you... i find that it isn't really a religion to me unless it involves believing something absurd for no reason whatsoever. think about what religion means to you.
