I-94 is not a visa. It is the paper stamped on by the immigration officer at your port of entry. It would show when you entered the USA and until what time/day you should be in the USA. The visa is the one issued to you when you applied for at any US Embassy or consulate office. Maybe if you were in using a tourist visa and you want to extend it..just go to the legal process and vist the US Immigration site and that would be of help to you. www.uscis.com Good luck and be sure you have all your legal documents intact.

P.S.

If applying for Adjustment of Status is what you need to learn about..just visit the USCIS site too..

I-94 is non renewable , because it's not a visa, but a piece of paper attached to your passport at the airport on arrival.
If your visa is still valid, you can apply for extention or adjustment depending on the visa type. Most visas, however, are non-renewavle.
Talk to a lawyer before you visa expires. Otherwise the only chance for legal status is marriage fraud.

People that are admitted to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program are not allowed to extend their stay, change their status to another visa type, or adjust their status to a legal permanent residence. They are permitted to stay a maximum of 90 days and tehn must leave the country. To my knowledge, there are no exceptions to this rule.

And the I-94 is not the only way that departures from the US are tracked, for those of you that are interested.
