ok, so i'm a junior in high school, and last year i started to really like this guy a lot.
we were in two classes together, and talked a lot in school, but didn't really hang out outside of school.
and nothing ended up happening. (some friends told him to ask me to a school dance, but he never did... either because he didn't wanna go with me or maybe he was nervous? but we did dance together once).
i got over him during the summer, but when school started again this week i realized i still like him.
the only problem is that we're in none of the same classes together and the only time i see him is for 5 seconds when he's leaving the class that i'm going into.
what should i do to get his attention and to get him to like me?
should i ask him out maybe?

You'll never know if you don't try! Anyway it's better than wondering forever whether he likes you (or worse, watching someone else ask him out).
Just act friendly and nice when you do it. Don't let the fact that he didn't make a move stop you, he was probably scared out of his mind!

I suspect that you might not like this answer but entertain this thought for a moment. I suggest you do no more than tell him that you have missed him over the summer and leave it up to him. In the meanwhile try to focus on the BIG PICTURE. You have just two more years of public schooling to prepare yourself to for the tough road of life. Before you know it you will be in charge of your life and you have to start planning NOW.
Sit down and start setting your goals. Try and determine what your position will be at the end of this school year. Will you be going to college after your senior year? If not are you going to enter a technical school or some other form of learning? Whatever it will be you have to start planing now. Really concentrate on getting excellent grades...its all for your benefit. Determine what you are going to do when you graduate. After all, ultimately you want to be in position to take care of yourself and not have to depend on others. Do you want to have a so-so life, an OK life, or a life full of promise, happiness and security. You cannot depend always on mama and daddy. You have to start your preparation now. Yesterday is already too late. Time, though it seem slow, moves very fast.
You definitely do not want to depend on any man to take care of you. Boys will come and go(mostly they will go).
That, my dear is the big picture. Grab a hold of it now and embrace it with your life...love yourself first.

first of all just because your not in the same classes doesnt mean you cant see eachother i realized sometimes that we have alot of time on our hands just dont realize its needed by someone else. so i think you should ask him to the movies or something, and then pop the question make sure he still shows likeness in you

Nothing is going to happen if you don't talk to him. Ask him over to study or something. Make time to hang out with him. You have nothing to lose.

Find out if he is ony of the atletic teams...basketball, wrestling, etc...then go watch them practice....if not..find out where he goes after school...maybe to a local mall or someplace to hang out...just kind of be around where he is...ask him to go to a movie or out for a burger....If you want something ya gotta go for it

asking out usually works, and if he says no... at least you tried, and he might change his mind down the road if he realized that he made a mistake by not going out with you!

get closer ask him for his phone number, ask him how was his weekend, and take your way slowly to what he do in his spear time, See if you can share an activity with him
