If God did create everything then he is responsible. If you say Satan caused it then he was created by God. If you say people then God Created them. If you say evil exists because people use free will then God gave free will. When it comes down to it God is to blame.

Actually I do take responsibility for myself. However, I am sick of Christians who blame other religions or people's personal choices that do not affect Christian religion. Seriously, not everything is about you, yet you still find something to get offended by. If God created created bad then yes he created good. However, why have the bad to begin with. Good and evil balancing each other does not work here. Also, if God is perfect then that makes us perfect creations. How many are willing to admit your are perfect?

***How can God not be to blame for all things bad? ****

You have a valid point.

When engineers design a product and it fails to do what it is designed to do we blame the product, no we blame the maker. Religion as usual works in reverse and that is not right. God even made Satan. What was he thinking. Probably how to screw us out of heaven. Free will is a joke and a sham, if you don't use it right, again you go to hell. We can't win for losing.Let us rebel.

Yes, God is RESPONSIBLE (blame would imply he did something wrong) for everything in the universe! He created good and evil, and he created Satan, a murder and liar from the very begining. And ALL that he created was good, because it served his ultimate purpose. So what is God's ultimate purpose? His purpose is that we all have an experience of evil, so that we will know what it is, and more importantly, that we might know what good is! You cannot know good without knowing evil, and you cannot know evil without having an actual experience of evil. This is true of all knowledge, as all knowledge is a contrast. For example, if i have been deaf all my life, then i cannot know what sound is, and cannot appreciate sound or the absence of sound. Someone can try to describe it to me, but i still can't really know what sound is unless i have had an actual experience with it. Same goes for all other knowledge one can posses. So evil serves a GOOD purpose. In learning what evil is, we should HATE it, just as God does. Now we have said God is responsible for all things good and evil. Ultimately, God will destroy evil once and for all, because it will have fullfilled it's purpose, and is of no use any longer. But understand that without an experience of evil, we would not be able to appreciate good!

wen god came into existance the balance of nature was wrecked
2 much of 1 power was created and it was un balanced so satan was created to make it balance. Saten acts as the mins and god acts as a plus, a positive force and a negative force upon us all!
Saten was not created by god but its part "dark side" of god!
Which exists in all of us " the little voice inside oour minds".
And if we do something that its evil, its not gods fault its ours!
Like u said god gave us free will, so we choose to listen to the dark side.
Its not gods fault that we are not envolved like beings that we should be and cant reconise between gods voice and satans visper!
And if everyone believed in god, saten wouldnt exist!
He wouldnt have any one to turn against true nirvana.

This is now just my own opinion if I can add.
"I believe in god and I feel that I dont need to question his actions. I have faith in him that he will be there for me and help me when I need him. And remember there a lot of people out ther hurting!"
I was in a war for 4yrs 10 yrs ago and now with his help i am in my last year oh high school and i love my lfe"

I see your point but just because God gave us free will does not mean that it is his fault. God is a loving God and he gave us the free will to make choices. How would you like it if we had to do everything that He told us to do? Would that be a God of choices or would that be someone that dictates. I don't believe that God is to blame for all the bad that happens, we choice the bad and good that happens and yes that right is given to us by God. God only wants us to make the right choices and if we have given our lives truely to God they all of are questions will be answered thru the Bible which God has given us to understand what is going on. God is only to blame for loving us and giving His only Son so that we believer can have ever lasting life.

i've had this same argument with god - over and over - and i'm a believer. it cant be won...god finally won the argument by hitting me broadside. he said one thing - and i'm sure it was him:

"the proof's in the pudding"

i was blindsided to say the least. what that meant was simple...
am i a better man with god or without him? and the short answer is "yes" . i could not be the better person i am as opposed to the angry, selfish clot of a human being i was on my own. i needed the help. sometimes i still question god about the rightness of our creation, but in the absence of difinitive answers, i guess i am left with "the proof's in the pudding". in the end, we are here whether we like it or not, so the only question ultimately is,
will we live selfish lives or selfless lives? selfless is hard, but selfish hurts more all around. therefore the bible must be basically right about the nature of selfishness and selflessness.

perhaps we should take a page from professor dumbledore's book, and "choose between what is easy and what is right".

as steve taylor said, "it's harder to believe than not to."

those who lead selfless lives are never remembered as destroyers. the proof is in the pudding.

You can't blame god for anything. Blaming implies holding god responsible. I suspect you're not qualified to do that and god might not take it too well. Why is it people are answering god is either to blame or he isn't. There's plenty of blame to go around why can't we divvy up a small % to that which made it all possible to begin with. If god hadn't created free-will no one could be blamed for anything as by definition no one would be responsible. Therein lies the root of all our troubles.

I disagree. Satan is a fallen angel. He chose evil and darkness. We too are given free will. We can choose to follow God, or we can choose to turn away from him. We are only human, and we have weaknesses. It is easy for Satan to influence us, he will creep in at any little chink in our armour (any weakness we may have) and is VERY strong. Satan is the cause of disease, famine, "bad things", as you say. Because God did create everything, and he created it in beauty and perfection. But the downfall of Adam and Eve and the fallen angel Satan, are what made bad things happen.

If you create something which results in damage being caused you would be held responsible. For example if you made a bomb and it blew your house to smithereens killing and maiming passers by you would be held responsible: you created the bomb. A creator is responsible for his creations. As God is the creator of everything so he is responsible for everything good and bad, especially when he can create perfection so that 'bad' cannot occur.

God created man, yes. But when Adam and eve ate from the fruit of the tree that should not have been eaten from they bought in sin. So we are all born into sin, it's up to us to seek first the kingdom of God or perish. So you can not blame God for all that is, we put ourselves in situations and areas that we are in. It's also all on how you are raised and what type of characteristics you carry. So I can not say that God is responsible for everything bad, but I can tell you he is always in the midst waiting on you to ask for his help, forgiveness, guidance, and knowledge.

Gee, that makes it easy, doesn't it? God created us all and He gave us free will, so if WE screw it up it's still God's fault, huh? Wrong. Everything created by God was created for good, but we humans, with our imperfect nature, screw it up. To make matters worse, we have people like you who are so arrogant as to turn it all around and blame God. "You made me, you gave me free will, so it's your fault I did something stupid!" Grow up and take some responsibility for yourself. No one holds a gun to your head and makes you do anything, so own up to what you do.
