We're planning a trip from Indy to LA Sept. 14th. What time should we get in line so we actually get into the studio? Is there anything else we should do while in the area? Do you recommend a hotel or mode of transportation? Neither of us have been to LA. Please help. :)

According to the show's website, they are the ones that must supply you with tickets in advance.

If you've not already received tickets/been contacted by the show, it looks like their calendar is booked through October. Enjoy the show, if you've already gotten the tickets; I'm sure that it's a good time.

Always get there about 1 hr early. Most of the TV shows that are taped give out free tickets at the local mall. These are to fill no-shows in the audience and if you are late that seat will be given to one of them.
Since you are new to LA drive to the studio the day before about that same time so you will know the way there and the traffic during that time of day. LA can have some bad traffic at rush hour.
