The bible atates that one can commit adultery in their hearts without the actual act. Lusting after the flesh is sin. What do these persons do with this lust-particularly when they are supposed to be making love to their wives honestly?

maybe they can't help themselves. i think it'd be worse if they did more than look.

I'm not sure of your definition of ogle, but my ex used to get pissed off when i looked at other women in church. I'll tell you what I told her. The act of looking at another person is not necessarily ogling. i rarely had lustful thoughts. One woman I liked to watch had a huge tush, completely out of proportion to the rest of her body. Watching her walk up the aisle was an adventure in creativity as I tried to decide if her tush was really that large or were there two gremlins under her dress fighting to get out. Another woman I stared at because I wondered, as she walked by with her head held high, how she could do it. I had found out accidentally that she was a having extramarital affairs with other women, had been doing so for over twenty years, all the while deceiving her family, and yet she never failed to tell me how poor a christian I was. The point is that possibly, some of the people you are witnessing who are looking at others are simply looking and not lusting. It would certainly be wrong to insist you know they are ogling and or lusting just because they look, even if it is a long look.

Maybe their wives don't want to have sex. If lusting in our hearts is a sin then everyone of us is doomed

They only have a pretense to uphold. If they were to really try and follow their babble they would be stuck in the past and we would not have to tolerate them!!

People are human and people sin.

Why do some think that Christians are supposed to be Perfect?

We are NOT perfect, we repent and do our best not to sin again.

Peace!
