I am getting a Papillon Puppy & was wondering if anyone has any ideas for a unique name?

If its a girl, Mariposa (butterfly) since papillon already means butterfly.

Sometimes you must use the breeders name in the registered name. Papillon are named for a Butterfly because of their ears. So you could look up different types of butterflies on the internet....boring? They are bouncy, fun loving dogs...Male or female? Color? I like Delani....Papi, just play with it and have some fun....but keep it short and easy to learn....Good Luck!

Well, I named one of my dogs Entropy (it is a science term meaning Chaos, basically.) But, for your dog you may want to go with Papillon (because it means "butterfly" in french.) And it would be a cute name play on the breed.
Hm...The sex of the puppy would help better determine a name....

Since Papillon means "butterfly", how about "Monarch" or "Viceroy" if it's a boy? Look up different varieties of butterflies for more ideas.

Try something French or another meaning for Butterfly because they get that name because there ears look like butterfly wings.

Boo Dee...This definetly gets there attention with the high pitch on the end. If you drag out the Dee as in Deeeeeee..it's even better.
