It was connected to "Daniel in the lion's den" story. Something like " Mene mene tekel perez" if I remember correctly. My question is : Why can't he write more memos? We could really use the guidance, if he's real, and hasn't died or moved away. It bothers me that the bible says he used to do so many things a long long time ago that sound impossible, and doesn't do anything like that anymore. Did his finger run out of ink?

Of course not - but we are to believe by faith now. We're not under the law anymore as they were then. If we had "handwriting on the wall" so to speak, we would be believing in the writing rather than the words.... He gave us a very long memo called the Bible in which He gives us guidance on anything we need to know.. just have to be willing to find it there.

If you are a Christian, God is there for you - you just have to ask. Just remember, there is a difference between wanting and needing, and also remember that God will answer in His time, not yours. The handwriting on the wall was not a memo, but a dire warning to King Belshazzar, who died within hours of Daniel's interpretation. Go well, and God Bless!

1st, you're mixing accounts that happen in Daniel's life.

Who says he isn't.

Today we have the entire book / word of God.

In reading a newspaper today I see fulfillment of prophecy everyday.

When I go to my congregation I see the love promised by Jesus.

When I see someone blinded by Satan and then has the veil removed from their eyes come to know our Heavenly Father

When I practice what God has said and I see first hand the blessings that come

I know that Jehovah is alive and continuing to provide direction, counsel to people today.

Well, how many times does he have to repeat himself. It's like if your parents told you fifty million times 'thou shalt not kill' and you did it anyway, wouldn't you get sick of it? That's what the ten commandments were for. Here's the everlasting memo; Listen or not. Those who don't can just enjoy the Apocalypse. Thanks!

You know, that isn't even funny.

What more do you want from Him..He sent His Son to die for you and He was raised from the dead..He speaks to the ones that listen to Him.
